Our Mission

Maple Haven School is committed to nurturing a love of learning in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment, where every pupil’s achievements—no matter how small—are recognised and celebrated.

Our pupils have a range of special educational needs and disabilities, with a particular focus on communication difficulties, autism (ASD) and attention-related needs such as ADHD. We understand that every child experiences the world differently, and we value these differences as strengths.

Our curriculum is child-centred, highly personalised, and responsive to individual needs. It is delivered within a total communication environment, using a range of strategies to support understanding, expression, and engagement. We provide structured, predictable learning opportunities alongside flexibility, enabling pupils to feel secure, motivated and ready to learn.

Through this approach, we aim to support each pupil to develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need to reach their full potential.

Our Vision

To provide a safe, structured and inspiring learning environment with high-quality specialist support, where young people with communication and interaction needs, including autism and attention-related differences, can access meaningful and personalised learning programmes. These programmes enable them to achieve their long-term outcomes and develop the independence, resilience, and life and work skills they need for the future.
